Sungai Siput: The Government will issue a circular in the near future to analyze the decision to allow graduate teachers actively involved in politics, said Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.
Deputy Prime Minister, said the circular is to provide guidelines, especially to the principals and headmasters to manage the politics graduate teachers such as approving leave for political affairs. "We will further clarify this matter so that principals and teachers better understand the nature of the permission granted and how to handle teachers who want to actively engage in politics." "Anda tidak dapat semua dengan percuma. Anda kena kerja kuat, tetapi jangan kerja terlalu keras. Orang yang bekerja terlalu keras akan menua cepat,"
Tun Mahathir berkata demikian kepada pemberita selepas menyampaikan ucap utama di Persidangan Meniti Hari Tua Secara Sihat kali ke-lima.
Sementara itu, dalam ucaptamanya pada persidangan tersebut, beliau berkata untuk menua secara sihat seseorang itu perlu berusaha untuk mendapatkannya.
Tun Mahathir berkata antara rahsia untuk sentiasa kelihatan sihat dan muda adalah sentiasa gembira dalam setiap kerja yang dilakukan.
Mantan Perdana Menteri Malaysia, Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad berkongsi petua menjalani kehidupan yang sihat ketika usianya telah mencecah 85 tahun.
Beliau berkata, "tidak berhenti daripada membuat kerja" dan sentiasa senyum merupakan rahsia yang diamalkan oleh beliau.
"Jika kita rasa gembira, kita akan kelihatan muda, dan bila anda sudah tua, tolong jangan berhenti daripada bekerja.
"Buatlah apa-apa kerja. Fikirlah apa-apa yang boleh anda fikir. Tulis apa-apa yang boleh anda tulis tetapi jangan berhenti dari membuat kerja.
Selain itu Dr Mahathir turut memberitahu supaya melakukan perkara yang digemari supaya sentiasa kelihatan muda dan sihat.

There is much to be gained from a language-rich environment where parents engage in activities that enhance communication skills with their children.

TEACHING a child to read and write may seem like a teacher's job on the surface, but research conducted in the United Kingdom (UK) in 2007 showed that family involvement in a child's early education is just as important.
Hawkins says that it will be beneficial for a child to have a good grasp of one language first before learning another.
According to the UK's National Literacy Trust National Young Readers' Programme project manager Lucy Hawkins, a child's literacy starts when he is nine months old.
